Collection: Current Weekly Auction - Closing Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 11:30 pm Atlantic Time
Welcome to our weekly unreserved auction! This week we offer the remainder of the post-1970 MNH material from the "P-St." countries, including the remainder of Portugal, Russia, Rwanda, St. Kitts and St. Lucia.
We have three specialized themes. First, we continue an ongoing United States theme, with a reprise of the previously offered pre-1900 classics, and then all of the First Bureau issues from 1894 to 1898.
For Canada, we have our usual range of Canada from 1859 to the 1970's, and then a super-specialized offering of the 2c, 3c and 6c Wilding issue, with the many shades of cerise and orange identified, as well as paper and gum types. On the 3c and 6c they are only known on the vertical wove paper, but the ribbed/ribbed, smooth/ribbed and smooth/smooth distinctions are noted, as well as the many types of DF1 and DF2 fluorescence, as well as LF, F, MF and HB.
There are 542 lots this week.
If you are new to the auction, please visit our FAQ page for a description of all the relevant terms and conditions. Please also note that all Canadian residents will be charged appropriate sales taxes based on where they reside.
