Lot 114 United States SC#UX10 1c Black on Buff, 1891 Grant Postcard Issue, A Very Fine Used Envelope, Mint Postard Form 1891 Issue, Blank Address Side & Blank Message Side Framed By A Railway Ad For Lakeshore Passenger Station, Type 1.
A very fine used envelope of the 1c black on buff from the 1891 Grant Postcard Issue, mint postard form 1891 issue, blank address side & blank message side framed by a railway ad for lakeshore passenger station, type 1.
The ad is for 3 big excursions. This is not a preprinted card. Those would have the message and the address pre-printed, not just a border advertisement.
Scott doesn't list this variety, so we estimate it at $25. The envelope offered here grades VF.
