An oversize registered envelope, sent from Ibadan on January 12, 1926, at the 6d rate, to Belgium, and franked with a die 2 3d light purple. The stamp is tied by a Proud type R2 Ibadan registry cancel. There appears to be a Ubangi-Shari transit backstamp and there is a vertical file fold, well away from the stamp.
Fine condition overall. The value of the cancel in Proud is 2 GBP. The destination for the covers is one of the best for Western Europe, and should add $20 to the basic cover value of $5. The stamp value on cover is $2. So, my estimate of the value of these covers is $27.
