Lot 243 Nigeria #2a 1d Scarlet, 1914-1929 King George V Imperium Keyplate Issue, Usage Two Covers To USA & UK

Two covers, one sent at the 2d rate to Montgomery Ward, in the USA, and the other to the UK at the 1d rate. The 1d cover is franked with a single 1d scarlet booklet single (much scarcer than the sheet stamps), and is tied by Proud type D3 Port Harcourt cancels, dated April 3, 1919. The US cover is franked with 2 sheet singles of the 1d scarlet, tied by Lagos cancels, dated May 24, 1919.

Fine condition overall (2d cover is VF and 1d cover is VG). The value of the cancels in Proud is 5 GBP. The destinations are common and the sheet stamp value is minimal. The booklet stamp should add $10. So, my estimate of the value of these is $25.
