Lot 252 Nigeria #16b 1d Deep Red 1914-1929 King George V Imperium Keyplate Issue, Usage On Two Covers & A Front To The UK, Good Cancels
Two covers and a front to the UK, all sent at the 2d rate, which is paid with two die 2 1d red script CA stamps. The front has the stamps tied by Proud type D3 Abakaliki CDS cancels, dated February 21, 1928. The second cover has the stamps tied by Proud type D6 Umuahia cancels, dated November 17,1930. The third cover is tied by Proud type D9 Abeokuta cancels, dated April 22, 1926.
Very fine condition overall. The value of the cancels in Proud is 16 GBP. The destination for the covers is not of any premium value, but the basic covers would be worth $6. The stamp value on cover is $4. So, my estimate of the value of this is $26.
