Sepia postcard depicting the CMS compound, Panyam Bauchi Plateau, sent to Italy in July 1924 at the 1.5d postcard rate. Franked with die 1 singles of each of the 1/2d and 1d script CA watermark, paying the full rate, and tied with Lagos cancels. Some corner wear on the card and some slight blemishes to the picture side.

Fine condition overall. The value of the cancels in Proud is nominal. The destination for the card is quite a bit better, as Italy is one of the scarcer Western European destinations for mail from Nigeria. It should add about $20 in value. The basic card should be $5, and the stamp value on cover is $2. So, my estimate of the value of this is $27.
