Nearly Complete MNH Iran Collection From 1960-1983 in 3 Farahbaksh Hingeless Albums & 1 -8 Page Lighthouse Stockbook

A largely complete and all MNH collection in 3 Farahbaksh hingeless albums & 1 -8 Page Lighthouse stockbook, that is missing only the following Scott numbers to be complete:

• 1243-1244
• 1255
• 1331-1344
• 1582
• 1734
• 1903
• 1952
• 2061
• 2088

Some of the 1983 issues that appear, at first to be missing are actually in the red stockbook. 

There is some gum toning on some of the earlier issues, and some of the mounts had come loose and were re-affixed using scotch tape. I checked these over and fortunately, the tape has not affected the gum. A couple of the pages have come loose from the binders and will need to be reinforced, and there are a few pages that show some moisture stains, and the stamps in those areas show some minor gum disturbances, but neither of these two issues is very significant. 

The stockbook contains a smattering of the earlier issues, though we have not checked these, and it must be assumed that the majority are reprints, where both originals and reprints exist. We figured in $100 for the entire book, over and above the catalogue value of the stamps. 

All in all, a very nice collection of a country we don't see that often, in a nice set of three decorative albums.

Total 2017 Scott value plus the $100 for the stockbook totals $2,785.40 USD, which at an average exchange rate of 1.35 is $3,760.29 CDN. Our price for this collection is $1,499 CDN plus taxes and shipping, or $249.83 per month, plus taxes and shipping over 6 months.
