Used in the correct period of use, As Michel indicated that this printing was made between 1875 & 1876. We matched this to the appropriate color swatch on the Michel color key. We would note that according to Michel, the common shades are; 1) medium to lively red carmine, which is aniline & fluorescent orange under UV, this one is not this and 2) lilac red or medium to lively lilac red i.e. lighter or brighter than the lilac red shade included here.
