50 VF used singles of the 1c-2c reddish violet, pale reddish violet, milky violet, deep violet, deep rose lilac Numeral from the 1935-1967 Fourth Postage Due Issue showing the full range of shades & paper types on which these stamps were printed, including red violet shades & the scarce cbn-vvvvvvv toned paper. A massive assortment of all-different stamps, which have been carefully gone through to ensure that they are all different in some way, and all VF centered and fault free. As stated in my videos, pencil cancels, pen cancels and no cancels do not detract from these, as that is how 75% of used postage due stamps are. There is no way that I have time to identify every stamp usng my paper table that I have developed, which I am sure is not complete, but if you look at my description for lot 367 you can see how the information in the paper table can be meticoulously applied to identify the individual stamps.

The stamps are divided into two main groups. The first group, consisting of 35 stamps are stamps that are on DF papers having a fluorescence level of 1 on the Irwin-Freeman scale. This would include all of the pre-1952 papers and most of the red-violet shades. The 1c stamps in this group include 2 milky violet stamps, one of which is exceptionally pale, and scarce, 6 violet shades and six deep rose lilac shades. The 2c stamps in this group include 3 milky or pale reddish violet shades, 8 violet shades, including one on CBN-VVVVVVV paper, and finally 6 deep rose lilac shades. The second group, consisting of just 15 stamps represents the brighter, bluish white stamps having a fluorescence level of 2. The 1c stamps in this group include one reddish violet and three deep rose lilac shades. The 2c stamps include four reddish violets or pale reddish violets, 5 violet or pale violet shades and two deeper milky violet shades. There are some stamps in this lot that are not in lot 369 and vice versa. The lot is entirely unchecked as to exact perforations, but they will vary from 11.85 to 12.2 on both sides if measured with an instanta gauge.
