A fine used single of the 1c yellow Queen Victoria from the 1870-1897 Small Queen Issue early second Ottawa printing, soft, porous thin white newsprint with horizontal mesh (2o-a), perf. 12, showing minor re-entry, with doubling in "o" of "postage". Re-Entries on the yellow shades are difficult to see in a scan, but one way to see them more clearly is by holding them to backlight. Then you can usually see the secondary traces of ink within the postions of the design that are doubled.
