4 Fine & VF Used singles of the 1c green King George VI from the 1942-1949 War Effort Issue 4-hole ohms perfins from position 4, original die, with two different double strikes, one with additional errant holes & one showing narrow spacing. The strike with errant holes is a mystery as the holes do not seem to correspond to another OHMS strike. Our only possible explanation for this is that a sheet of paper with very few holes in it was re-used. But we are open to any suggestions as to what this might represent.
