A very fine used single of the 10c on 1d scarlet King Edward VII from the 1907-1912 King Edward VII Issue, DLR printing, thick, uniform 's' in agencies, unlisted in Gibbons.

Study of this overprint reveals that there are 2 types of overprint; 1) S in agencies is thin and has one, fluid stroke of more of les even thickness, 2) One where the ends of the S are tampered, and the body is thicker than the end, 3) one where the 's' is of uniform thickness, but much thicker than above. #1 & 2 are common, three is scarce, and this lot includes #3.

Gibbons doesn't list these varieties, so we estimate them at $. The stamp offered here grades 80 as follows:
