Lot 261 Nigeria #16, 16b, 18 1d Rose Red, 2d Grey 1921-1932 King George V Imperium Keyplate Issue, Usage On 2 Registered Covers to UK

Two registered covers, sent to the UK on November 5, 1924 and May 19, 1926. The first is sent from Ibadan and is franked with two die 1 2d grey stamps and and one die 1 1d stamp. The stamps are tied by Proud type R2 Ibadan registry cancel. The second cover is sent from Lagos and is franked with a pair and a strip of the die 2 1d rose red.

VF condition overall. The value of the cancel in Proud is nominal 2 GBP. The destination for the covers is of no premium value, but the basic covers are $10. The stamp value on cover is $50. So, my estimate of the value of these covers is $62.
