2 very fine used singles of the 1pi on 2.5d ultramarine King Edward VII from the 1902-1905 King Edward VII Issue, thinner, shorter letters with normal for comparison.

In the normal overprint, the letters are almost exactly 3mm tall, most notably the 's'. In The variety the 's' is only 2.5mm tall, and all letters are noticably thinner.
