A fine used single of the 1c bright yellow Queen Victoria from the 1870-1893 Small Queen Issue, late Montreal printing, paper type LM-C, showing re-entry in 'nad' of 'canada' & 'sta' of 'postage', perf 12.1x12.75.

LM-C refers to Late Montreal, paper type C (Medium non-porous horizontal wove). The doubling at the tops of the letters is more obvious with back lighting. There is no position dot nor any medallion dot, so it is likely a 1880-1886 printing made from new plates.
