A VFOG single of the 1kr violet from the 1867-1876 Mercury Newspaper Issue, type iii, private perforation 12.75x14.75, straight edge at right.
These perforations were made by the newspaper pressrooms in Vienna & Prague that were printing and mailing newspapers. 99% of all such perforated examples were used instantly and so mint examples are exceptionally scarce.
