Lot 225 Basutoland SG#11, 14 1d - 6d Deep Blue & Carmine - Slate & Bright Purple Windsor Castle, 1935 Silver Jubilee Issue, 4 F/VFOG Singles, Showing Constant Varieties Involving The Vignette Plate
4 F/VFOG singles of the 1d - 6d deep blue & carmine - slate & bright purple Windsor Castle from the 1935 Silver Jubilee Issue, showing constant varieties involving the vignette plate.
The varieties are: 1) Weak flagstaff on 1d & 6d, 2) rock in water below state apartments (1d) and 3) rock & water below Jacob's Meadow. The weak flagstaff is definitely constant as it can be found on msot colonial issues. The rock in water varietes are also likely constant.
Gibbons values these at £, so we estimate them at $25. The stamps offered here grade between 70 and 84 as follows:

Paper Freshness: 5/5
Colour: 5/5
