LM-A refers to Late Montreal, paper type A (stout horizontal, non-porous wove with coarse horizontal mesh) and LM-B refers to late Montreal, paper type B (thick, soft white non porous wove with fine vertical mesh). The LM-B stamp has a creased lower left corner perf.
