2 fine used singles of the 1d deep rose red - scarlet King George V from the 1921-1932 KGV Imperium Keyplate Issue, Wmk Multiple Script CA, two constant vertical plate scratches.

The plate scratches that I saw on other values of the multiple Crown CA Wmk but did not lot because I wasn't sure what they were. But having seen these and seeing that the stamps are free from faults, I can say that they are constant varieties in the form of plate scratches which are quite scarce, given De la Rue's notoriously high quality control standards.

Gibbons doesn't list these varieties, so we estimate them at $20. The stamps offered here grade 70 as follows:
