A FNH LL plate 1 block of 4 of the 10c deep dull green from the 1946 Special Delivery Peace Issue, CBN-bbbbbbbbb paper (thin & translucent), pos 42 showing dented 'o' variety, lot 142 does not have this variety at pos. 42.

So this must be a transient or tertiary variety. Like lot 142, there is a large pos. dot at LL in the selvedge, with a smaller one next to it. Some perf separation & gum bends, so valued as singles. This thin paper is scarce.

Unitrade doesn't list this variety, so we estimate it at $40. The stamp offered here grades 70 as follows:

Centering/Margins: 40/70

Paper Freshness: 5/5
