2 VFNH singles of the 30c multicoloured Red Oak from the 1977-1982 Floral & Environment Issue on DF2/LF4-fl paper with shifts of yellow brown & red, finely screened background. These stamps show two different colour shifts, which would appear to be shifts of the leaf and stem colours primarily, as the engraving is in more or less the correct place on the stamp. On the first stamp, the leaf colours are correcty registered with the engraving, but the yellow brown is shifted slightly downward and to the left. This suggests the possibility that the yellow brown and red were printed in separate operations. The second stamp is one of the more common shifts in which the red of the leaves is shifted slightly upward.
