4 F-VF covers of the 37c-38c multicoloured Parliament Buildings from the 1987-1991 Mammal & Architecture Issue. Domestic single & combination US & international frankings. A fine to very fine group of 4 covers with different frankings of these two definitives. We have a perf. 13 37c on a July 29, 1988 domestic cover, paying the standard first class rate. Then we have a pair on a May 1988 cover paying the airmail rate to Italy (one stamp creased). For the 38c value we have a single domestic franking on a March 1989 cover. Then we have a combination usage, with a 2c fishing spear to underpay the 44c rate to the US. This deficiency was never caught. Finally, we have a 48c combination usage, also on a December 1989 cover, this time paying 48c postage, which overpays the 44c rate by 4c.The rate was made up with 2c and 6c stamps from the 50c vending machine booklet.
