Canada #1156i 2c Porcupine, 1988-1992 Mammal and Architecture Issue, Usage on 3 1994 International Covers as A Make-Up Stamp, Two to Germany and 1 to Pakistan

Three airmail covers from 1994, all consisting of 43c postal stationery envelopes, which have been uprated using a combination of commemorative stamps, plus a 2c porcupine stamp used as a make-up stamp. All are slightly out of period, as the 2c strawberry definitive was issued in August 1992. One cover is addressed to Pakistan, and was sent at the overweight rate of $1.33. This cover is quite grubby, as are most covers that come from Pakistan, and the backflap is missing, so it is only VG. The other two are sent to Germany and are uprated using 43c Stanley Cup and 43c Greetings booklet stamps. The 2c stamps on these two are not tied, but there is no question that they belong, as the airmail rate in 1994 was 88c. These two covers are VF. Net est. $8.
