Three domestic registered covers, all sent in March , May and June 1992, and all sent at the $3.27 rate. All are franked with the $1 and $2 high values, plus a single of the 2c porcupine on Coated Papers paper, and a 25c beaver on either Slater paper or Coated Papers paper. The $1 on all three covers are slightly different, through the $2 stamps are similar:
• The May 1992 cover $1 has a brownish grey roof, deeper red door, a thin green header above the door with squared ends and dotted tan bricks. This cover has a tagged Slater paper 25c.
• The June 1992 cover has a brownish grey roof, pale red door, a thin deeper green header above the door with squared ends and dotted tan bricks. This cover has an untagged 25c on Coated Papers paper.
• The March 1992 cover has a brownish grey roof, pale red door, a thin deeper green header above the door with squared ends and dotted tan bricks. The 25c on this cover is the tagged Slater paper printing.
The $2 stamps are all printed in the richer shade of orange, but have the dot pattern where individual dots can be seen as high as the top of the Canada inscription and the trim on the building is a slightly deeper milky green. Very fine overall. Net est. $18.
The Mammal and Architecture definitive issue is the subject of this week's blog post. You are encouraged to go here to find more information about the paper, shade, gum and fluorescence varieties that are described here, that are not in Unitrade. There you will find all of the information that you need in one place. That post will be published by the end of the day on Friday, December 16, 2022.
