6 VFNH singles of the 34c multicoloured Girl Guides, Naval Personnel & The Old Holton House from the 1985 Girl Guides - Montreal Museum of Fine Arts Issues LF/DF1, DF2/DF1, DF1/DF2, DF2/DF2, NF/DF and NF/NF Harrison papers. The inscription is normally nearly invisble when the stamp is viewed under UV light, as the background colour blends into the white inscription. On the DF1/DF2 paper, the background stands out somewhat, so that the inscription is visible. 1985 marks the year in which the Harrison paper becomes primarily dull under UV, whereas in 1984 it was primarily LF (at least on the face). The normal appearance of this paper is DF on the front and usually some variation of DF on the back. Variations that are LF on either the front or back are much less common at this point, and definitely worthy of separate mention.

Unitrade does not list these varieties, but we estimate the value at $6. The stamps offered here grade 75-84 as follows:

Centering/Margins: 45/70, 50/70, 54/70

Paper Freshness: 5/5

Colour: 5/5

Impression: 5/5

Absence of Visible Paper Flaws: 5/5

Perforations: 10/10
