Canada #1045var 32c Multicoloured Heart & Arrow On Jeans, 1985 International Youth Year Issue, A VFNH Single Downward Shift of Dark Blue Colour, DF2/DF2 Harrison Paper

A VFNH single of the 32c multicoloured Heart & Arrow On Jeans from the 1985 International Youth Year Issue downward shift of dark blue colour, DF2/DF2 Harrison paper. This shift causes a light blue outline to appear against the green heart, that wouldn't normally be visible, and similarly, a golden outline to appear around the arrow. Also the black at the top of the design, under AD of Canada protrudes slightly into the margin, beyond the blue. Normally this is not visible in the margin at all. Finally, screening dots appear at the periphery of the white letters of the inscription, when under normal circumstances, these letters are pure white. 1985 marks the year in which the Harrison paper becomes primarily dull under UV, whereas in 1984 it was primarily LF (at least on the face). The normal appearance of this paper is DF on the front and usually some variation of DF on the back. Variations that are LF on either the front or back are much less common at this point, and definitely worthy of separate mention.
