A group of 3 souvenir postcard folders From Nova Scotia, showing various landmarks and tourist attractions ,from the 1950's and 1960's-1970's. One folder is actually a "fold-a-letter", which contains six colour pictures, and a blank page on the back where you could write a letter. You would then fold it up and seal it, using the gummed flap. This appears to be a 1950's item, based on the appearance of the aircraft parked at the airport. The other pictures in this folder show Wentworth Park in Sydney, fishing fleet in Glace Bay harbour, Museum and Louisburg Fortress, the William Carson and an aerial view of Sudney. The second folder depicts the Bay of Fundy at high and low tides, a tuna fishing wharf at Wedgeport, scallop boats at Digby Wharf, the lighthouse at Peggy's Cove, Blue Rocks near Lunenburg, Blossoms at Annapolis Valley, oxen team, aerial in Halifax, Sailing Schooner Bluenose 11, Evangeline Park and Monument, Grand Pre, Fishing Schooner at Hackets Cove and Road to Isles Causeway. The third folder appears to be a bit earlier, in the 1960's, based on the cars shown in various pictures. This folder shows many similar images to the other one, though the Evangeline park card is captioned "Replica of the Church of St. Charles." Overall the cards are VF. Net estimated value for the group is $15.
