A fine used single of the 1c orange Queen Victoria from the 1870-1897 Small Queen Issue early second Ottawa printing, thin, soft, porous white newsprint with horizontal mesh (2o-a), perf. 12, spur above last "a" of "canada". Flaws like this are much less common on these stamps that you would expect. The dozen or so lots offered in this sale with printing flaws came from several hundred used 1c stamps that I went through thoroughly.
