A well centered and very fine OG example of the 9c deep ultramarine "Arrival at St. John's" stamp from the 1933 Sir Humphrey Gilbert Issue, with reversed watermark. Printed on horizontal wove paper, showing no obvious mesh, and with smooth cream gum that has a semi-gloss sheen. Comb perforated 13.4 x 13.6 and watermarked arms upright reversed (caribou antlers pointing to the left). Unitrade values a VF-75 OG single of the normal upright watermark at $14. Inverted or reversed watermarks are usually worth $50-$65.
