Newfoundland #191 (SG#225c) 5c Deep Reddish Violet Caribou Die 2 1932-37 Resources Issue F-65 NH

A fine NH example of the 5c deep reddish violet die 2 Caribou stamp from the 1932-1937 Resources definitive Issue. Printed on vertical wove paper, showing no obvious mesh, and with crackly cream gum that has a satin sheen. Comb perforated 13.5. Unitrade values a F-65 NH single at $1.25. There is a light diagonal gum crease that does affect the paper. It is not noticeable from the front. However, it does reduce the grade from F-70 to F-65. The stamp offered here grades 65 as follows:
