A VFNH upper right plate 7 block of 4 of the 1c deep chocolate Queen Elizabeth II stamp from the 1954-1962 Wilding Issue. Perf. 11.95 and printed on bright DF Gr smooth Vertical Wove. Streaky satin gum. The paper used to print plates 6, 7, 8 and 8N is the transitional paper, which although still horizontally ribbed, appears much smoother than the earlier papers. This paper appears in 1956 and 1957, and by 1958 is replaced by the completely smooth paper used to print the stamps from plate 9.
