Starting from the late 1950's through the 1960's and beyond the various issues of the Vatican can be found printed on a variety of different papers having different levels of fluorescent reaction under long wave-UV light. We did not specifically check the individual fluorescence levels of the stamps in these lots, we did note that some were DF, some were LF or MF and some still were HF or HB. This would be an interesting direction in which to take the collecting of these stamps, as most are not expensive, but are very beautiful. Generally most stamps from the 1970's onward tend to be HF or HB, but it is possible that lower fluorescence can be found also.
