A very fine used example of the 2d deep blue & prussian blue from the 2nd Printing From September 14, 1874 Queen Victoria, duty plate shows apostrophe flaw, scarcer proud type D4 Lagos CDS Nov 23, 1874 with Lagos in center, faint timecode A at top, perf 12 1/2 line, crown cc wmk. Perf 12 1/2 Line, Crown CC Wmk. Duty plate is printed in Prossian Blue and shows apostrophe flaw in front of "Two Pence". This appears to be corrected as I have not seen it on subsequent 2d's. 2022 Scott Classic cat. $45. Our estimate of the value based on the condition is $75.
