Two covers, both sent to the same merchants in Port Hawksbury in Cape Breton and both sent on RPO’s. The first cover is sent May 18, 1895 along the Point Tupper & Sydney RPO, while the other is sent from “H… Dennis Station”. Both are franked with deeper orange vermilion stamps on the poor quality wove paper, so these will be useful to a specialist doing a calendar study of the late Ottawa printings. Very fine, est. $10.
