The perfs for the low values are 14 x 13.5, and for the shilling values are 14. All the stamps have the mult NZ + star watermark, which appears sideways on the shilling values. The lot includes the 2d orange, 4d bright purple, 5d slate, 6d carmine, 8d violet, 9d purple-brown, 1s red-brown and carmine, 1/3 red-brown and blue, 2d brown-orange and green & 3s red-brown and gray, plus additional plates and watermark positions. The additional varieties include a 1s from plate 1 with an upright watermark, one from plate 2 with an upright watermark, a 1/3 value with an upright watermark, and a 2s from plate 1 with an upright watermark. All are VF except the 2/- plate 1 with upright watermark and the 3/-.
