Fine NH coil pairs of the 1d purple brown and maroon Queen Elizabeth stamps from the 1938-1946 watermarked Zoological definitives, and the 1942-1944 definitive re-issues with new designs. These coil pairs can be identified by the large perforation holes in the centre between the stamps and the small holes at the ends. Both pairs are regular coil pairs. The 1d maroon is the type 2 design and is VF centered and the 1d purple brown is fine centered.
