A group of four covers, representing a range of the printings on which the 3c Washington Banknote issue comes, including one with grill at the right edge, which unfortunately has had the perforations damaged by being placed too close to the right edge of the cover, two with Continental printings and one with the last American Banknote Company printing. The covers are all F-VF overall, with a bit of edge swelling from the contents, and some small backflap tears, but no pieces missing or edge tears.
