A fine used example of the 2d blue & deep blue from the First Printing From May 12, 1874 Queen Victoria, frame break at lower left, Lagos CDS July 27, 1874 timecode B, well centered. 1980 produced , perf 12 1/2 line, crown cc wmk. Duty plate printed in deep blue separately from head plate. Clipped corner perf at UR, but still fine overall. Frame breaks are not common on De La Rue issues. This is probably not listed because it has never been plated, largely because there are not enough around to be able to plate them.. 2022 Scott Classic cat. $45.
