A fine large #10 domestic envelope from the Provincial Normal School in Calgary, AB to Winnipeg. Sent on June 29, 1931, just 2 days before the War Tax was re-introduced, causing the registered letter rate to be 13 cents instead of 12 cents. So this would be one of the last dates at this rate. There is a heavy vertical filing fold in the middle of the cover, well away from the stamp.
