A very well centered NH example of the bright Carmine red shade, die one on medium wove paper with smooth gum that has a satin sheen. Most of the dry printings of this stamp have a thicker shinier gum that has streaks running vertically down it. This gum has the effect of dulling the embossing on the back, which makes it look almost like a wet printing. This example has the redrawn frame line. 2023 Unitrade catalog value is $90.
