A fine 5c cover sent from Montreal to Hamburg Germany, on August 2, 1895, from the Hamburg American Packet Co., and bearing their arched corner card in the upper left corner. Franked with a 5c grey second Ottawa printing tied with a Montreal duplex cancel. August 13, 1895 Hamburg receiving backstamp. A vertical file fold away from the stamp reduces the grade from VF to fine.
Then there is a VF 3c cover from Halifax to Somerset, sent August 1, 1895. Franked with a single 3c vermilion second Ottawa printing, tied with a clear strike of the Halifax squared circle postmark.
