Lot 6 United States #UX3, UX5, UX8, UX9 1873-1886 Postcards, Group of 10 Used Domestically, To Canada and Sweden, With Postage Due Marking, Net Est. $10

A lot of 10 postcards from the 1873 to 1886 issued mostly used domestically, but also three to Canada and one creased example of UX5 sent to Sweden and rated 5 centimes (UPU standard was to assess postage due in Gold Francs and centimes, so that the receiving authorities could convert it to the local currency and apply postage due stamps. It does look as though there was, at one time, a postage due stamp affixed to the lower left corner of the card, which has since been removed. That card is VG because of a few corner creases, but overall is quite scarce. The remainder are generally sound except for one with a corner crease and a few with stains.
2016 Scott Specialized for the cards other than the one sent to Sweden is $11.15. The card to Sweden should be worth $5 in the condition it is in, so $10 for the entire lot, after factoring in overall condition.
