A VG-VF group of 88 pre-unification issues from Natal, Orange River Colony and Transvaal. There are several fine stamps, and VF stamps, but also several that are VG or below, due to faults such as cut edges and rounded corners. There are also a fair number of fiscally cancelled stamps, and i note that all the high values are so cancelled. I haven't checked the owner's catalogue value to see if they took the revenue cancels into account, but I would assume not. That all being said, there is a better than average coverage of the Chalon head issues in natal, the Bradbury Wilkinson Victorias in Transvaaland the arms issues of Transvaal. These last issues look ok, but several may be forgeries and these would need to be checked carefully. The Edward VII issues are mostly mint, and are generally solid, though a few have no gum, or are otherwise faulty. A useful lot that should fill many holes.
