Lot 53 Canada #107e 2c Green King George V, 1911-1928 Admiral Issue, A Fine Used Example With Cutting Guideline Arrow, From The Upper Right Corner Of The Sheet

A fine CDS canceled example of the green shade dry printing, with redrawn frame line from the upper right corner of the sheet showing natural straight edge at the top and the cutting guideline arrow. Although it is an inexpensive stamp, used examples with the cutting guideline arrow are not common, and this is a nice reference example for illustrating how the sheets were cut apart during this time. Our estimate of value for this is three dollars. The stamp offered here grades 68 as follows:

Centering/Margins: 30/60

Paper Freshness: 5/5

Colour: 5/5

Impression: 5/5

Absence of Visible Paper Flaws: 5/5

Perforations: 10/10

Cancellation: 10/10
