A fine OG example of the 20n light blue and green from the 1896 Bicentenary of Ruling Dynasty issue. 11.5. This is the scarcer perf in which this value comes. The perf. 11.5 stamps do however, exist expensively counterfeited. The forgeries however, are relatively easy to distingush from the originals by the coarseness of their execution. The best places to loom are the fine dots of the sky shading and the eagles in the lower corners. On the originals the fine detail will be clear, whereas on the counterfeits it is not. This example shows clear detail throughout the design. This example would be VF, but for some very light discolouration at the top of the design, so we grade it as fine. 2022 Scott Classic cat. $25.
