A VG local cover sent from an indeterminate location within the island to Helen McLean in St. Peter's Bay. I couldn't find anything directly about Ms. McLean, but there is a funeral home in Charlottetown named after the McLean family, so there is likely a connection there. No backstamps. There is a faint March 16, 1871 Charlottetown split ring stamp on the face. Faults, including trimmed stamp at right, soling and damage to the upper left corner. Very good.
