5 FNH UL inscription blocks of 10 of the 1c dark violet from the 1935-1965 Fourth Postage Due Issue with various shades, papers & gums, likely dated between the 1940's & 50's.

The first block is milky violet on soft vertical wove paper with crackly cream gum, the second is deep rose lilac on horizontal ribbed wove paper with smooth cream gum. The third is bright violet on horizontal ribbed paper with smooth cream gum. The fourth block is similar to the third, jsut on strongly ribbed paper. The final block is deep purple on strongly horizontally ribbed paper with smooth cream gum. Likely dated between the 1940's & 50s based on the appearance of the paper and gum.
