BK47 was the third and final booklet to be issued as part of the Karsh issue, and it is both the most complex booklet in the issue, as well as being the last chewing gum booklet to ever be issued. As in the past issues, this booklet was issued in both English and bilingual versions, with 305,550 English booklets and 154,050 bilingual booklets being printed. The English booklets were distributed among 16 different front and back cover combinations (4 different front covers and four back covers. The bilingual versions were distributed amoung a possible 225 different booklets, with 15 different types of each cover being possible, though many have still never been reported. The scarcity of these individual types becomes immediately apparent, as 154,050 divided by 225 gives less than 1,000 booklets per type on average.
On the English booklets we have found two constant varieties, consisting of a break in the scroll below "d" of Canada, and another in which there are multiple breaks in the shield and in the left text bos on the front cover.
