Lot 401 Canada #417i, 420i, 424i 5c Multicoloured Unity-Lady's Slipper, 1964-1966 Emblems Issue, 3 VFNH Singles On Fluorescent Vertical Wove Paper With Smooth Dextrine Gum

3 VFNH singles of the 5c multicoloured Unity-Lady's Slipper from the 1964-1966 Emblems Issue on fluorescent vertical wove paper with smooth dextrine gum. The true fluorescent paper, which is noticably brighter than the LF paper, is quite a bit scarcer than the LF. Unitrade's listings are for F paper, but in reality what they are really listing is LF, with the true F paper being a scarcer subset of that. I've only found it on a handful of the earlier stamps up to the Lady's Slipper stamp. I haven't seen it in the later issues from 1966.

Unitrade values this at $6 for the LF paper. The F paper is scarcer. Our estimate of the value on this paper is $15. The stamps offered here grade 75-80 as follows:

Centering/Margins: 45/70, 50/70

Paper Freshness: 5/5

Colour: 5/5

Impression: 5/5

Absence of Visible Paper Flaws: 5/5

Perforations: 10/10
