VFNH examples of four £1.70 booklets from the Social Letter Writing Series, The National Gallery and Write It Series, each containing a pane of 10 Machins, consisting of 10 17p stamps. The selvedge is at the left for all booklets, except the National Gallery booklet, which has it at the right. The selvedge tabs all contain a single extension perf hole, cutting guidemarks and the Pillar Box booklet has a split arrow marking at the top. The panes are all printed on phosphorized paper. All have PVAD gum. All have HF covers and HB/MF panes.
